Setting Up Your Own Club
Setting up your own Latin Club may seem to be a daunting task at first, but here are some simple tips to get your own club started and get people involved
First

Try to find a Latin teacher or any other teacher that may be interested in helping you with the club. If you can't, don't worry - you can still easily and effectively set up a club.

Even if you can't find a teacher to help, ask around to see if there are any classrooms that you may be able to utilize.
Second

Try to find students that are potentially interested in joining the club. Ask around through your friend groups and make posters that you can hang up around the school to advertise the new club. Once you get a few people to join, ask them to tell their friends about the club and potentially trying it out.

Third

Think of a club meeting schedule that works for you and the other club members. This can be anywhere from every week to once a month.

Then start brainstorming potential activities you can do with your club. This can include:
- Getting involved with the state/national junior classical league and going to local and state fora
- Emailing professors from local colleges asking if they could talk with your club about Latin and the classics at a college level
- Starting fun activities such as playing games or reading books (in Latin!) or even watching Roman movies
